Kinton Carbide manufactures replacement wear parts for the Mullers, Batch Mixers and High-Intensity Mixers that are most commonly used in the refractory industry. All wear parts can be custom designed for each customer’s specific wear pattern.

Kinton Carbide produces many types of Hammers and Knives that are utilized by many of the Refractories. These parts are, in most cases, tungsten carbide tipped only.

Kinton Carbide supplies tungsten carbide tipping and/or facing on Conveyor Screws and Augers. Kinton’s normal procedure consists of the customer supplying a Plain-Steel Auger or Screw and Kinton form fits tungsten carbide platelets to the flights and leading edges using silver solder braze as means of attachment.

Kinton Carbide is a major supplier of Tungsten Carbide-Lined Brick Molds used in the Refractory and Glass Industries. End and Side Liner Holders are manufactured to the customers-supplied drawings and specifications. Kinton can also supply Tungsten Carbide-Lined Mold Bodies and Pins that are used by some Refractories to produce the Steel-Industry Nozzles.
